Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is not one place: the commune holds Saint-Roman near the Monegasque border, the hilltop old village, Carnolès and its urban centre, and the Cap-Martin plateau. Writing only "Roquebrune-Cap-Martin" can therefore describe districts that are a long way apart.
Four districts, four pick-up points
Saint-Roman lies on the Monaco border side, up in the heights. The old village sits on its hill further west, with its own lanes and approaches. Carnolès forms the urban centre, along the road that follows the coast, and the Cap-Martin plateau takes up the part reaching out to the sea.
Those districts are not reached by the same road, and an address in one has nothing to do with an address in another. That is the first reason the district name matters as much as the commune.
- Saint-Roman: on the Monegasque border side — a French commune, so give the address.
- Old village: on its hill, narrow lanes, drop-off at an agreed access.
- Carnolès: the urban centre, along the coast.
- Cap-Martin: the plateau and its residential addresses.
The hilltop old village: where a car can drop you
The village is built on height, with narrow streets, steps and passages. A car cannot go everywhere: the drop-off is therefore at one of the served accesses, close to the first lanes, and we agree which one with you before the journey.
On the way back, the meeting point is the same one, or the one you give us. We do not promise a drop-off at a door the road cannot reach.
Monaco, Menton, Nice: journeys from the commune
Eastwards, Menton is the next commune, and then the Italian border. Westwards, Cap-d’Ail, Beausoleil, Èze and Beaulieu-sur-Mer are reached along the corniches or the motorway, and Nice with its airport is the most frequent destination for a departure.
Each journey carries a pick-up address, a destination and a time. The price is computed for that journey and shown before you confirm.

Starting from Nice Airport?

Monaco
A drop-off in Monaco can be booked online from a pick-up outside the Principality: you give your starting point and your address in Monaco, and the price is confirmed before you book. Departures collected in Monaco itself are not offered by our online booking — that is set out below, without hedging.
Beausoleil
Beausoleil is built directly above Monaco — so close that the two touch and look alike. They are not the same commune and not the same territory: an address that looks Monegasque can be in Beausoleil, and that distinction changes how a pick-up is arranged.
Menton
Menton stretches along the sea, from the old centre to the Garavan district, which runs to the Italian border. A driver booked in advance for a hotel, an address in the centre or a residence in Garavan — and for leaving again towards Roquebrune, Monaco or Nice.
Cap-d’Ail
Cap-d’Ail is a French commune set against Monaco, with its centre, its port and its coastline. That closeness is convenient — it makes many journeys short — but it asks for precision: "near Monaco" is not enough to arrange a pick-up.
Roquebrune-Cap-Martin: common questions
- Village or Carnolès — why does it need saying?
- Because they are two districts a fair distance apart, joined by different roads. The old village is on its hill with narrow lanes; Carnolès is the urban centre along the coast. The pick-up point has nothing in common.
- Can I be dropped inside the old village?
- Yes, at one of the served accesses, close to the first lanes: the village is on height and not every street can be driven. We agree the exact point with you.
- Is Saint-Roman part of Monaco?
- No. Saint-Roman is a district of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, in France, on the Monegasque border side. As everywhere here, give the commune and then the address: two neighbouring streets can belong to two different territories.
- Do you cover journeys to Nice or the airport?
- Yes, in either direction, along the corniches or the motorway depending on your address and the traffic. The price is computed for the exact journey you give us.
