Audience measurement

If you accept it, this category shows which pages are read and how many visitors arrive. Contact details entered for booking are not sent to it: no name, no email address, no telephone number, no address and no flight number.

Advertising

If you accept it, this category measures whether a confirmed booking followed an advertisement. It would be used only for conversion tracking, with no personalised advertising and no remarketing.

Cookies and trackers

This page describes what the site actually stores on your device. Nothing is measured before you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.

What the site stores today

The site uses three cookies and two local-storage marks, for the following functions: one cookie that keeps your tracking choice, two cookies reserved for the administration pages, and two local marks written after a confirmed booking — and only if measurement has been accepted. After you accept audience measurement, Google Analytics may also set its _ga and _ga_* cookies, and the site measures visits, booking steps and page speed. No advertising tracking is configured.

Necessary cookie: your choice

The fyd_consent cookie, set by the site itself, keeps your decision for six months — accept, refuse, or choose category by category — so that the question is not asked again on every page and so that your choice is honoured from the first paint. It holds that decision and nothing else, no personal data, it is read by no third party, and it is written only at the moment you make a choice.

Necessary cookies: the administration area

The administration pages, which you cannot reach as a visitor, use a session cookie — fyd_session in the current configuration — protected and inaccessible to page JavaScript: it expires after two hours of inactivity and twelve hours at the latest. A temporary cookie (fyd_session_2fa) accompanies two-step verification and disappears when the sign-in ends. Neither cookie is ever set on the public pages of the site.

Local storage: not counting the same booking twice

After a confirmed booking the site writes two local marks (fyd.conversion.session.* and fyd.conversion.local.*) holding the booking reference, so that reloading the confirmation page does not count the same booking twice. They hold no personal data beyond that reference, they are never transmitted, and they are written only if audience measurement or advertising has been accepted: if you refuse, nothing is stored.

Audience measurement and advertising

After you agree, the site and Google Analytics measure page views, booking steps and browsing speed. The site keeps these measurements for 90 days, with a random in-memory visit identifier and no stored IP address. Google Analytics uses its own identifiers and cookies. After you agree, the session key fyd.analytics.session keeps a random identifier in your tab to group the visit, including the return from payment; it is renewed after 30 minutes without measurement and removed when you withdraw consent. The key disappears when the tab closes. Names, emails, telephone numbers, journey addresses, flight numbers and private booking links are excluded from measurement payloads. You can refuse or withdraw consent at any time. No advertising tracking is configured.

Managing your consent

You choose audience measurement and advertising separately, and both are off by default: refusing is as easy as accepting, and refusing does not prevent you from using the site. The “Cookie preferences” button at the bottom of every page reopens the panel and lets you withdraw an agreement you have already given. After six months, or if this page changed, the question would be put to you again.

Browser settings

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Refusing the cookie that keeps your choice does not block the site: you will simply be asked again on each visit. Blocking the session cookies does prevent access to the administration area.
