Private driver in Èze — the village and the seafront
In Èze, one commune covers two places that are not reached by the same road: the hilltop village on its outcrop, and the seafront below, with its coastal addresses and its station. Booking "Èze" without more detail leaves the driver guessing — so that is the first thing we settle with you.
Èze Village or Èze Bord de Mer: give your address
They are not interchangeable. The village sits several hundred metres above the sea, reached by a road that climbs. The seafront lies below, along the coastal road: it has its own annexe town hall on avenue de la Liberté, and its own addresses, with a different postcode.
In practice, someone who books "Èze" and nothing else can watch a car arrive in the wrong place — up there while they wait below, or the other way round. Saying "Èze Village" or "Èze Bord de Mer", then your exact address, removes the ambiguity entirely.
- Èze Village: addresses in the village or on the road climbing to it.
- Èze Bord de Mer: annexe town hall on avenue de la Liberté, coastal addresses, the station.
- In every case: the commune AND the address, not "Èze" alone.
The hilltop village: where a car can drop you
The village is walked: the lanes are narrow and partly pedestrian, and a car cannot go into them. The drop-off is therefore at one of the accessible stopping points at the entrance to the village, a few dozen metres from the first lanes — and we agree which one before the journey.
The same applies on the way back: the meeting point is the morning one, or the one you give us. We never promise a drop-off "in the middle" of an area no vehicle can enter.
The seafront, the station and the coastal addresses
Down below, things work differently: the addresses line the coast road, the station serves the coastal line, and the seafront annexe town hall stands on avenue de la Liberté. Hotels and residences there are reached from the main road, sometimes with entrances set below it.
Looking for a taxi or private hire in Èze? The distinction applies here too: a car booked in advance comes to the address you give, at the time you agreed. Find Your Driver is a pre-booked private-driver service — we offer neither street pick-ups nor a taxi service.
Nice, Beaulieu, Cap-d’Ail, Monaco: the links
The seafront is the unavoidable passage for every journey: west along the lower corniche towards Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Nice, east towards Cap-d’Ail and Monaco. From the village, the road first comes back down to that same axis.
Each journey is booked with a precise address and a chosen time; the duration depends on traffic on the corniches, and the price is confirmed before you book.

Starting from Nice Airport?
Èze has no dedicated journey page: the airport page explains how a pick-up at Nice Côte d’Azur works — flight number, name-board welcome, waiting time included after landing. Your journey to Èze is then booked like any other.

Beaulieu-sur-Mer
Beaulieu-sur-Mer is a small commune between the sea and the corniche, at the gateway to the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula. The centre, the port and the seafront do not occupy the same space — saying exactly where you are is all it takes for the pick-up to go smoothly.
Cap-d’Ail
Cap-d’Ail is a French commune set against Monaco, with its centre, its port and its coastline. That closeness is convenient — it makes many journeys short — but it asks for precision: "near Monaco" is not enough to arrange a pick-up.
Nice
A driver booked in advance for Nice — your hotel, the station, the port, an appointment — and for journeys on to the rest of the Riviera. You see the price for the exact address and time you give before you confirm anything.
Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is a peninsula: a village and its port on one side, then a road that runs right around the cape, with addresses spread along the whole shoreline. Here the subject is not distance but access — and therefore the meeting point we agree with you.
Èze: common questions
- Èze Village or Èze Bord de Mer — why does it matter so much?
- Because they are two distinct places joined by a road that climbs. The seafront has its annexe town hall and its coastal addresses; the village is on its outcrop, with pedestrian lanes. Neither the meeting point nor the route is the same.
- Can I be dropped inside the village?
- No: the lanes are narrow and partly pedestrian. The drop-off is at one of the accessible stopping points at the entrance, a few dozen metres from the first lanes — we agree which one with you.
- I am leaving from the station or a seafront address — is that possible?
- Yes. The station and the coastal addresses of Èze Bord de Mer are common pick-up points. Give the station or the exact address, along with your time.
